2020-12-12 - This was the smallest two-manual design Johnson & Son built during this late period in their production, and was an identical twin to the organ built for First Congregational Church (Op. 786, 1893), Kent, Connecticut, thirteen opus numbers prior. Given their proximity in the production schedule, it is possible some parts for both instruments may have been produced simultaneously. The instrument cost $1.300.00. -Scot Huntington
