Notes

2025-01-02 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (January 1, 2025): From the *Western New Yorker* (Perry, NY, March 14, 1867): “The organ for the Presbyterian Church of this village arrived on Monday and its builder, Mr. G. House of Buffalo, and several workmen have been engaged several days in putting it together and arranging all its intricate machinery. The organ is some 10 x 12 feet and about 18 feet high. It has 24 stops, two banks of keys, and nearly nine hundred pipes. The case is finely finished and ornamented and altogether it is a splendid and satisfactory instrument. Its cost $2,000.” -Andrew Henderson
