New York. It will cost in all about $2,400." "Brevities" (subhead of "Olean News and Gossip" column), Olean (NY) Democrat, Tuesday, July 15, 1884, [5], Newspapers.com, https://www.newspapers.com/image/9053627: "A hydraulic motor has been attached to the new Baptist organ, of the piston pattern, supplied by the Jacques M'f'g Co., of Brooklyn." "The Baptist Church: To Be Dedicated Wednesday, December 10th," Olean (NY) Democrat, Tuesday, December 9, 1884, 1, Newspapers.com, https://www.newspapers.com/image/9054374: "The building replaces the wooden structure destroyed by fire in the spring of 1883. . . . The structure is heated by steam. The organ is a very fine musical instrument, of magnificent tone. It was manufactured by O'Dell [<i>sic</i>] Bros., of New York, at a cost of $2,400. It has improved pneumatic connections; double capacity bellows, operated by Jacques vertical water motor, the most perfect known. It has two banks, 24 stops, and 900 pipes.
