Notes

2025-01-21 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ incorporating used pipework. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (January 20, 2025): The $2500 Tellers organ now being installed in the Hunt's Corners Baptist Church will be dedicated at the morning worship service to be held on Sunday, December 14, and the inaugural organ recital will be played the following Friday evening, December 19. The contract for the organ was signed May 9, with the Tellers Organ Co of Erie. The organ is a 2 manual outfit composed of eleven stops and chimes. Many of the organ pipes were taken from the Aeolian organ, formerly installed in the residence of the late R. B. Mellon, of Pittsburgh, PA. The organ has superb tone, and in addition to being ideal for church use, and is a fine concert organ." -Andrew Henderson
