2025-01-27 - From the Asheville Daily Citizen (June 2, 1894): "The case of the organ is antique oak, hard cabinet finish, and of handsome design to harmonize with interior architecture of the church. The displayed pipes are handsomely decorated in gold and silver and colors to match fresco. The details of construction and every part of the instrument are after the most approved methods and in the most thorough manner, from carefully selected materials, such as will insure durability and perfect operation in all the parts. Henry Tellers, of Erie, Pa., who is quite a young man, has been charged with the erection of the organ in Central church and the skill and dispatch with which he has performed his work mark him as a capable, intelligent workman." -Andrew Henderson
