Notes

2025-03-09 - This entry represents tonal changes and/or additions to an existing instrument, as well as windchest re-leathering and other repairs and upgrades. The .pdf Organ History document available on the church website states, "Since 1996, the Victoria organ builder Grant Smalley, has made various repairs and additions to the organ to improve its sound and its mechanical functioning. The Choir box has been modified to give better tonal egress and modifications to the Swell box were completed in 1999 for the same reason. In 1997 re-leathering was begun for the first time since the chests were new in 1951: the Great, Choir, and Swell divisions have been completed, with the Pedal division yet to be done. The 12 pipes needed to complete the bottom octave of the 16’ Clarinet were added in 1998. Space exists in the organ for further additional pipework. To aid in servicing, major carpentry renovations have been made to the loft itself." -Jim Stettner
