2025-04-03 - This entry is believed to represent the installation of a new organ. The 'History' page of the parish website states, "On July 30, 1882, the members decided to build a church at a cost of $1,619.82. This church had two aisles, three rows of pews, a balcony, and a small hall. The bell for the steeple was purchased for $90 and the cost of the organ was $77." That organ was likely a reed organ. The Geo. Kilgen & Son pipe organ was procured in 1910, and relocated to the new church in 1918. -Jim Stettner
