2025-04-15 - From *The Democrat & Chronicle* (July 15, 1898): "On Sunday the congregation at St. Mark's Episcopal Church will listen for the first time to the fine new organ recently purchased from Jesse Woodbury [sic] & Co., Boston. The instrument is valued at $1,300 and it is expected that it will be a great addition to the musical part of the worship." (October 28, 1898): "Last evening, the new organ of St. Mark's Church, Rev. E. P. Hart, Rector, was dedicated. The instrument is the same make as that of St. Paul's, the largest in the city. St. Mark's is two manual, with fifteen stops. Though small, it furnishes ample support for the choir and congregation. Its voicing and diapason are very superior." -Andrew Henderson
