2025-04-17 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ. Identified through online information from Andrew Henderson (April 17, 0250: From *The Democrat & Chronicle* (August 1, 1904, Rochester, NY): "Worshippers at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Joseph Avenue and Buchanan Park, yesterday dedicated a new organ and a new altar. The organ, which is said to be one of the finest toned in the city, stands between the pulpit on the left and altar on the right. The case is of oak. The pipes occupy a recess in the wall, the keyboard being down upon the platform occupied by the choir ... the organ has 1,300 pipes and forty stops. It is of the same make as the organs in SS. Peter and Paul's and St. Michael's Catholic Churches, and the Park Avenue Baptist Church. J. W. Steere & Son, of Springfield, Mass., are the builders." -Andrew Henderson
