2025-04-21 - From the Buffalo Courier (June 27, 1855): "The Sandusky Register says that a new organ, from the manufactory of G. House, of this city, has been erected in the new Presbyterian Church in that city. It has 22 stops, a sub-bass of 1 1/4 octaves, and is played with two banks of keys, besides the pedals. In size it is 9 1/2 by 6 1/2 feet, and 15 feet high; which, we understand, fails to give a full idea of its capacity, as it is said to be constructed upon a plan of unusual compactness, whereby the greatest possible amount of power and variety is accomplished within its dimensions. The cost of the organ is $1,500." -Andrew Henderson
