Notes

2025-06-22 - This entry represents the installation of a new organ which incorporated pipework from the 1893 Wm. King & Son organ at the New York State Reformatory - the predecessor facility to the present. Identified through online information from Mark A. Smith (May 22, 2025): By the time the organ was parted out in 1994, it had degenerated into a 5-rank or so unit organ. The first spotted metal Diapason pipe (F18) being parted out from the Link organ contains the following inscription in elegant script: 'Vio Dia, SW 48 WK&S #1'. The WK&S inscriptions continue to top C of this 61 note, full length stop. -Jim Stettner
