2008-11-17 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is beautifully encased at the front of the room with a 7-sectional facade. The main case holds the Great and Pedal divisions. The expressive Swell is placed behind the case. The Positiv is uniquely positioned as a "Rückpositiv" but elevated above the keydesk and forward of the Great. It was a 5-sectional facade. Three stops from the Great are borrowed to the Pedal by transmission. And the Pedal 8' Octave has notes 1-12 in common with the Great 8' Octave. The Pedal 32' Contra Posaune (of wood) is mechanically unified to play at 32, 16, & 8. The organ was dedicated by Professor George Damp on May 5, 1995. Source: L.U. website. -Database Manager
