Lafayette Park Methodist, St. Louis, MO The rebuild did not add or change any pipework. The orginal chests had magnet boxes attached to sides, the console (new) was detached, pitch raised to 440, pedal from 30 to 32 notes. The orginal case work remains and looks like the builder photo of 1900. There have been some tonal changes since 1942. Gt. stops, and Sw. St. Diap, Sal, Harm. F., and Ped 16' Bd. are original. Sw. Tpt. was originally 8' Oboe. Pitched to A440. There is a letter in the Kilgen brochure, "Pipe Organs" (dated Oct. 1904) referring to the 1900 organ.
