2007-10-24 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ was originally built by William H. Longmore when he lived in Cleveland, Ohio and was working for the Holtkamp Organ Co. When he moved to Lakeland, Florida to go to work for Klug & Schumacher, he brought the organ along, and it was subsequently sold to Jason Lee United Methodist and installed here by Klug & Schumacher. The Pedal 8' Flute makes up the facade with pipes CC, CC#, and DD on the left, and tc#-tf# (6 pipes) on the right. The Manual (Positiv) 1' Octave breaks back to 2' pitch at c#3 for the top 12 notes. This stop has evidently since been moved to 1-1/3' position. Documented August 7, 1990. -Database Manager
