2004-10-30 - "Cost $1,400. Dedicated 19 Oct 1905. Old Opus number 1428, New Opus number 174, both shown on the L & H Opus list. St. Simon's was granted Parish status in 1911. It reverted to mission status in 1931. Closed 1936. Building is now (2002) the Buddhist Temple of Chicago. The organ went to St. Andrew's Episcopal, Evanston, IL c. 1936." -Database Manager
