2023-06-30 - It's unlikely the electrification was done in 1939, unless it was redone in 1965. The key action has had E-P primaries grafted onto the external inflate-to-play Hook-Hastings actions (which, amazingly enough, exhaust the internal pallet pull-down pneumatics). The added key actions are consistent with Balcom & Vaughan's style of work from the 60's, not the 30's, and the supply-house console is also from that era. The console is not detached, but was simply shoved into the gap in the case created when the original keydesk was removed and discarded. -Joe O'Donnell
2023-12-18 - In 2023 Bond Organ Builders replaced the increasingly unreliable combination action and coupler switching with a new solid-state system. Most of the blank tabs were eliminated and one tab was repurposed to restore the independent stop action for the Swell Bourdon bass. The chimes, which had played an octave low on the Swell, now play from the Great in the customary range. -Joe O'Donnell
