2023-11-10 - The organ was rebuilt in 1940 by Roy Staples and again in 1953 by Staples and A. Dwight Peck, the area Austin rep; a new Austin console was added at that time. The building with its 700-seat sanctuary was sold in September 1994 to Clark Atlanta University for use as the home for its Art and Music Departments; it eventually was named the Park Street Music and Art Complex. -Jeff Scofield
