2020-10-30 - From the church's website: "We probably have Loren Carle to thank the ultimate completion of our organ. When our organ was first ordered and built in 1988 and 1989, certain planned elements were left off, in order to come in on budget. Thus was our organ 25+ years. We received a bequest in 2014, which allowed us to repair a number of outstanding items around the church. A call was made for projects to consider. Loren Carle, our organist at the time, researched at length the yet-uncompleted elements of our organ and reached out to the original builder, Mr. Karl Wilhelm. He agreed to install the missing elements of his organ, and at a very favourable price. The project was debated at our Annual Meeting of 2015, and was passed. The parts were ordered and, when ready, Karl Wilhelm returned to St. Ansgar in May to complete the organ. The newly completed organ was presented to the congregation in a short re-dedication ceremony as part of the June 14, 2015 service." -Jim Stettner
