2008-10-21 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Organ was originally installed in previous sanctuary on Lafayette Square built in 1916, moved to present building in 1939. Trompette en Chamade added on rear wall and console replaced at a later date. Organ survived Hurricane Katrina although the sanctuary had extensive water damage. -Database Manager

2014-06-06 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- This organ was built for the previous sanctuary on Lafayette Square. The sanctuary was badly damaged by a hurricane in 1915, but rebuilt and the organ repaired.
