2024-10-23 - This church and organ burned in 1988 and were not replaced. I lived in that county at the time -- grew up there. My WCC classmate, present or former OHSer Mark D. Davis, was organist there some years before then. He might remember more details of the instrument. I played it once -- lovely. From an obituary: "Thomas J. Kitzler, 95, of Whiting and formerly of the Elizabeth and Union areas...was a lifelong communicant of the Christ Episcopal Church in Elizabeth until the fire in 1988 leading him to serve at St Elizabeth's Church. Thomas relocated to the Pines at Whiting in 1999. " Information received online from Randolph N. Waller on 2024-10-23 -Paul R. Marchesano
