2010-10-07 - Updated through on-line information from Anonymous contributor. -- c. 1970 the original console discarded and replaced with a supply house console. The console was later moved from the organ gallery in front of the room down to the floor level. Most of the organ action was re-leathered in 1991. Some minor tonal revisions took place during this period which included moving the 8' First Open Diapason to the Pedal division, the addition of a 2 2/3' Mixture IV to the Great, replacement of the Swell French Horn with a used Trumpet rank of unknown origin, disconnecting the Great Tremulant and the extension of the Great Tuba down to 16' (with wooden resonators). Since that time the Swell Vox Humana and Oboe have been removed from the organ and their wherabouts are unknown. After sitting mute for more than seven years the organ was put back into service in time for Christmas 2008. The organ is in playble condition, is regularly maintained and is used weekly for services and for an Advent and Lenten recital series. A major renovation and cleaning of the organ is underway. -Database Manager
