2004-10-30 - Purchased (contract) 1833 for $800 by George Rapelye. Manual compass 58 (GGG to f3, lacking GGG#); Pedal compass 18. Pedals permanently coupled to manual. Pipework softened ca. 1960. Maintained by National Park Service since 11/1/81. [Eastchester listed under Mt. Vernon on old printed lists; appears to be just inside the Bronx.] -Database Manager

2005-01-24 - Restorative repairs carried out in 1990s by Culver Mowers. Used to be Town of Eastchester in Westchester County. 19th century, several boroughs, towns and cities incorporated, now City of Mount Vernon, Westchester County (Township of Eastchester). Site is National Historic Site maintained by National Park Service. -Database Manager
