Both manual keyboards have cut-back fronts; the pedal clavier is flat, with radiating sharps. The oblique drawknobs are on round shanks, perhaps inlaid with ivory; the faces are lettered in an elegant italic script. The Swell knobs are brown; all others are black, with the couplers and signal knobs lettered in red. Divisions are indicated on the knobs: Gr., Sw. and Ped.

The action is entirely tubular-pneumatic, to what seem to be ventil chests. The couplers and combination pistons are also pneumatic; the combination pistons are double-acting and the Swell set is presently [1986] inoperable. The coupler knobs are situated over the Swell keyboard, divided on either side of the ivory nameplate which reads "Bates & Culley / Builders / Philadelphia / 1905". Organ can be hand pumped.
