Prior to demolition of the building, the organ was listed for sale with the Organ
Clearing House of Harrisville, New Hampshire. Despite efforts to sell the organ,
a buyer could not be found. When the building had deteriorated to the point that
it was considered unsafe, the congregation withdrew to temporary quarters so that
the church could be demolished. At this point, vandals made their way through
the building, wrecking many items including the organ. Water damage exacerbated
the problem. The remains of this organ were demolished with the building. The
congregation has plans to rebuild at the original site, though they have no plans
to purchase a pipe organ.
