Notes

2004-10-30 - Church and organ consecrated 23 Dec 1849. Originally installed on approval in rear gallery. Purchased for $800. Building originally at Woodward Ave. & Woodbridge St. Moved to front of church at some point before relocation of the building [in 1955?]. Electrified in 1920's?? By 1973 only a portion of the case existed. Electrified in the 1920's, the instrument is otherwise completely original and tonally perhaps thge most charming in the entire area. It now sits silently in the chancel due to a blower malfunction and the presence of a new three-manual gallery installation. -Database Manager
