2018-05-07/2019-04-23 - From the OHS Database Builders Lisiting editor, Stephen Hall, May 12, 2016. - George L. Catlin (c.1880-c.1950) was part of the new management brought into the Skinner Organ Co. of Dorchester, Massachusetts when Arthur Hudson Marks bought and reorganized the company in 1919. Catlin was a graduate of Yale, class of 1901.1 He had served as an officer under Marks during the first World War. He was based in Boston and became general manager and treasurer.2 Catlin remained with the company after its merger with the Aeolian Co. when it became Aeolian-Skinner in 1932. His new title was vice president and general manager with the new company.3 Sources:
