Fox (Organ Historical Society, 1997). - Makers of water motors in Watertown, New York, 1870s. Water motors were small self-contained motors that were powered by running tap water. They were used in areas that had running water to power small appliances, and tools. The larger models could power an organ blower. –Ed.
