2016-11-07/2019-04-29 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing editor, November 7, 2016. - Henry Erben briefly retired after leaving his partnership with William M. Wilson in Henry Erben & Co. His retirement did not last long, less than a year later he formed a new partnership with his son, Charles, as Henry Erben & Son. Henry continued working there until his death in 1884, at which point his foreman, Lewis C. Harrison acquired the firm. It is not known what Charles did after his father's death.
