Frederick Clapp Hook

Notes

2004-10-30/2019-09-08 - Note from the OHS PC Database, derived from A Guide to North American Organbuilders, by David H. Fox (Richmond, Va., Organ Historical Society, 1991). — Son of George G. Hook; with E. & G.G. Hook* of Boston, Massachusetts, draftsman; died 1926. *If Frederick Hook started with the firm when it was still E. & G.G. Hook, it would have been prior to 1872. From the brief reference in Fox's Guide, it cannot be determined if he remained after the firm became E. & G.G. Hook & Hastings. —Ed.
