Acrea (1938-1994)1 was with the Hendrickson Organ Company of St. Peter, Minnesota, from at least 1979 until sometime in the 1980s. He and Barry Lund are credited with doing most of the work on the Hendrickson firm's 1979 restoration of the W.W. Kimball organ in the Union Sunday School2 chapel in Clermont, Iowa (OHS Database ID 2875). Acrea wrote an article3 describing the details of the restoration which appeared in the Fall 1981 issue of The Tracker. After leaving Hendrickson, Acrea moved to Des Moines, Iowa.
