Edited for the revised OHS Online Database website, 2017. - Charles W. Adams was the son of Welcome K. Adams; he was with his father in W. K. Adams & Son of Providence, Rhode Island, 1883. He operated as C. W. Adams of Providence, Rhode Island, starting around 1890. Adams died circa 1914 as the result of a fall from an organ; his firm was succeeded by Wilson-Bolan Co.
