2015-09-05/2019-04-29 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing editor, December 31, 2016. - Lorenze Barckhoff was the second son of Felix Barckhoff. He worked in his father's shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania until 1878, then with his brother, Carl, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1878 to 1882 under the name Barckhoff Brothers. Carl relocated to Salem, Ohio in 1882, and reopened the firm as (Carl) Barckhoff Church Organ Company. There is no further mention of Lorenze from that point.
