2018-05-07/2019-02-11 - From the OHS Database Builders Listing editor, December 31, 2016. - Paul Barckhoff was born in 1916 in Basic, Virginia. He was the youngest child of Carl Barckhoff Sr. His mother was Carl's third wife, Lena (née Graber) Barckhoff. He was the brother of Carl Barckhoff Jr., and Felix Barckhoff [II] (their grandfather was also Felix), and half-brother of H. C. (Henry Carl) Barckhoff (b. 1884). H. C. had one sister, Sara (b. 1883) and one brother, Frederick Carl (b. 1890).1 Paul Barckhoff died 29 July, 1961, and is buried near his mother, and his brother, Felix, in Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.2 Source: Vernon Brown, Carl Barckhoff and the Barckhoff Church Organ Company, (unpublished essay in the OHS Archives, not dated).
