2015-08-30/2019-02-11 - From the OHS Online Organ Database, Builders Listing editors Charles Eberline and Stephen Hall, February 19, 2017. - Mark Beech was born and grew up in the Elkhorn River Valley of northeast Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in speech and drama. He did part time photography, stage directing, and set construction in the Lincoln area while working as mechanical designer and second in command for the Bedient Pipe Organ Company. After a divorce, he left organbuilding and returned to northeast Nebraska to pursue a writing career.
