George W. Reed & Son was operated by his brother George and nephew Earle (per his descendants, see note below). -Ed. 2018-05-07/2019-04-29 - From the Builders Listing editor, January 26, 2017. - Charles W. Reed was born January 8, 1866. He was the son of Reuben G. Reed, and brother of George Warren Reed. He and his brother worked with their father in Boylston, Massachusetts. After their father's death, the brothers continued to work together in association Herbert A. Holmes.
