Notes

2004-10-30 - The Marshall Field Department Store purchased Central Music Hall in 1900 and demolished the building for store expansion. The organ was moved to St. Martin's R. C. Church in Chicago and rebuilt by the Coburn & Taylor, 1900; it was rebuilt again in the 1902's by the Weiner Bros. and D. S. Wentz eventually provided the instrument with a used Casavant console (Op. 454, 1911, built for Temple Sinai, Chicago.) In 1982, the much-rebuilt organ was sold to Holy Trinity Church in Overland Park, Michigan, which is planning to install it soon. [c. 1982] -Database Manager

2007-12-28 - According to information received from Joel Gary, the organ was installed in Holy Trinity Church, Grand Rapids in the 1980s by David Skinner. It was later broken up and dispersed for parts. -Database Manager
