Stettner. -- According to the church's website, "In August, 2012 volunteers from the church removed the grill work at the entrance to the organ chambers in the chancel in preparation for the removal of our current Wicks Pipe Organ. The Wicks Organ Company of Highland, IL removed the current instrument and are preparing it for the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Apia, Samoa. The church is donating the pipe organ to Wicks, who in turn will donate it to the cathedral in Samoa. On August 27, the Wicks company, along with many volunteers from the church, carried the (over) 2,700 pipes out of the sanctuary." -Database Manager
