2004-10-30 - "The Diocese of Fort Wayne, 1857--September 22--1907, by the Rt. Rev. H. J. Alerding, Fort Wayne: The Archer Printing Co., 1907 shows that the organ (builder not named), pews and other furniture cost over $9,000. In an 1859 building. George Nelson shows this as a John Closs organ." -Database Manager
2005-10-28 - Updated through online information from John Gouwens. -- In the 1920s, a Wicks organ was installed, of about 30 ranks, with most of the instrument in the back gallery, but with the Choir division at the front (to the left of the main chancel area). The organ was enlarged and renovated by Wicks in the 1980s, and now has 56 ranks. -Database Manager
2022-01-18 - In 1911 Louis VanDinter installed a 34 stop organ of 2000 pipes, costing $8000. It was not clear from the source (*The South Bend Tribune*, 22 April 1911) if any previous pipework were used. -Paul R. Marchesano
