2024-02-26 - Information from Joseph A Muise, Jr: The residence organ from Frank Hastings home in Weston, MA is not there. My father bought the instrument, probably in the 1950's, from Anna Hall, a niece and last living relative of Frank. When I was a child and she was in her 90’s, we used to visit her about once a year and have tea on the porch. Another detail about the organ's original installation in Frank Hastings residence. Some of the original casework - pedal pipe towers and maybe some other details - were used by my father in an Estey rebuild he did for an organ installed at the First Presbyterian Church, 34 Alder Street, Waltham, MA where my mother was organist/director. After 40 years of good service, that instrument was removed by me and others around 2010. I do have pictures of that instrument. Unfortunately the casework is gone. -Paul R. Marchesano
