2017-05-04 - Updated by Don Hurd, listing conversations with this person as the source of the information: Frances "Toots" Carucci.<br> Cincinnati used to have two Sacred Heart churches: Sacred Heart (Italian), and Sacred Heart, Camp Washington. The first, a downtown church was torn down, probably in the 1960's. The Camp Washington church is now known as the Italian church, though we also have San Antonio Church, which is really the church with an Italian congregation. Camp Washington is the home church, though, of the local Sons of Italy and one other Italian organization, and the home of an enormous spaghetti dinner, twice a year. Sacred Heart, Camp Washington, has a wonderful Felgemaker organ, electrified, but from the late 1800s, I'd guess. -Database Manager
