Notes

2005-03-01 - Identified from company publications as edited and expanded in <i>The Hook Opus List 1829-1935</i>, ed. William T. Van Pelt (Organ Historical Society, 1991). -Database Manager

2010-01-04 - Rebuilt by Austin in 1920s, and an echo division added at that time. All but Echo removed in 1970s. -Database Manager

2024-02-29 - Interior Layout same as the organ in Boston's Holy Cross Cathedral. Exhauster pneumatic levers to all manuals and pedal. Tracker-Pneumatic stop action. Crescendo pedal was in fact a special sliding pedal running across the top of the pedalboard, like the Walcker organ at Methuen. Case was 60 feet tall, 50 wide, and 30 deep. 6 pipes visible in side wings are the Pedal 32' Double Open Diapason. -Christian Tedesco

2024-03-05 - Updated through online information from Christian Tedesco: The organ is no longer extant or playable. It was electrified by Austin in the 1920s and parted out in the 1970s. -Jim Stettner
