The organ was located directly behind the choristers behind a wood facade containing gold display pipes. The console was located to the right side of the organ casework in the loft. The organ was rebuilt in 1967 by Wilhelm Zimmer. The rebuilt organ remained in use until the 2007 installation of Letourneau, Opus 105. When the Zimmer was replaced, the Pilcher case was moved to St. Andrew Lutheran Church, New Bern NC as casework for the 2008 installation of a 1962 organ. -Database Manager
