2005-06-24 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The church had an Akron plan sanctuary. The organ was free-standing and encased at the front of the church on the right in a slightly elevated organ/choir loft. The console was detached and centered in front of the case. The facade was 5-sectional containing 49 pipes arranged: 11-5-17-5-11. (preceding info taken from an extant photo dated March 25, 1951) The church history states, "In 1918, a pipe organ was purchased from the old Rex Theatre." The congregation built a new building soon after the picture was taken, and the new church has a 1952 Wicks. -Database Manager
