2005-07-18 - Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- Orig. built for the Astoria Theatre in Astoria, OR. Was a 4-rank "Style B" 1926, moved to Liberty Theatre in Aatoria, OR. Remained for 24 years. ca. 1950, sold to Bill Blunk for $250.00. He installed the organ in the Blu-C Roller Rink in Astoria, OR. ca. 1952, Bill blunk removed the organ and moved to Indiana. ca. 1958, Bill Blunk returned to Astoria and installed the organ in the Viking Skating Rink in Astoria, OR. 1961, sold to Laurel [Haggart] Ruby of Oregon. In 1966 it was sold to Don Rittenberg of Portland. Organ renovated, but basically kept in storage. ca. In 1976 Don Rittenberg moved to Longview, Washington, and the organ was kept in storage for about 16 years. Around 1992, the organ sold to Beth Adkison of Bremerton, WA. Stored at old house, then mini storage pending installation in newly constructed home. -Database Manager
