Notes

2005-07-18 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- Free-standing and encased. 3-sectional facade. Attached, projecting keydesk. 1907 to Hillcrest Presbyterian in W. Seattle. -Database Manager

2006-06-12 - Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -Database Manager

2008-01-08 - Updated through online information from David P. Dahl. -- Current stop list: same as original except the following changes: Swell Violina 4 (so still labeled) is a Casavant spotted metal Dulciana, functioning much as a Fugara 4. The former Violina 4 pipes are now the Great Dulciana 8 (from tc), in that the scale is identical (and the original Dulciana pipes were damaged beyond usage. The original facade pipes of the Open Diapason had been cut and mitered for use at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church. These were replaced and re-stenciled (by PLU organ students), built for the organ by Organ Supply Corp, and installed in 1990. The organ has had restoration procedures accomplished over a period of 20 years through the efforts of Richard Bond, Martin Pasi, Paul Fritts and Tim Drewes. Bond retabled the chests and releathered the double rise bellow and feeder bellows. Pipe repair, regulation and action repairs were done by the other builders listed. In 2001 a PLU student Jacob Nelson (with the help of Paul Fritts) restored the hand pumped mechanism. The instrument currently is in excellent condition, and will be featured on the 2008 OHS national convention in Seattle/Tacoma. -Database Manager
