2014-08-25 - Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Most of the pipes and the case for the rear gallery organ are from the 1869 Henry Erben instrument. The Erben organ was converted to electro-pneumatic action in 1919 according to the cathedral website, but the source does not indicate who did the work. The instrument received further work in 1940 by Leighton Organ Service according to a plaque on the console. Current configuration by Faucher Organ Company in 1999, they are most likely the ones who added the three chancel divisions which also speak into the side chapel. -Database Manager
