2005-12-05 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ is installed in two chambers between the Chapel and the adjacent Assembly Hall. Expression shutters into both rooms allow the organ to be used for both locations. Dual consoles were also provided. The chapel console is permanently located in the gallery, while the Assembly Hall console is moveable. Wind pressure was 7" throughout except for the 8' Vox Humana which was on 4". Each console has a piston whereby the opposite console may be entirely cut-out. The contract was signed Novemnber 13, 1930, and the organ was to be installed and ready for use by February 1, 1931. Cost was $10,575.00. The organ was a gift of Dept. Store mogul R.C. Wieboldt whose company is named as the party of the second part and who signed the contract. -Database Manager

Store mogul R.C. Wieboldt whose company is named as the party of the second part and who signed the contract. The console features the patented Austin canceler bars over the stop keys of each division. The wind pressure was 7" except for the Swell 8' Vox Humana which is housed on its own chest in its own box with its own tremulant, and which speaks on 4" w.p. Each of the consoles has a piston whereby the opposite console may be entirely cut out.
