2005-12-06 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The home was later purchased by Norton Clapp. When the Clapp family relocated to Medina, Washington, the organ was removed and reinstalled in the new home. In 1957, it was given to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in the Magnolia Section of Seattle and installed there with an added Great 4' Principal by Balcom and Vaughan. It 1979, it was further enlarged and rebuilt by Balcom and Vaughan Pipe Organs, Inc. with new Kilgen-style E-P unit chjests. Ultimately, the organ suffered vermin damage and was sold. It was purchased by James R. Stettner of Seattle, and was used in several organ projects. Some parts sold and/or traded. -Database Manager
