2008-06-23 - Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ was originally built for Mountain View Lutheran in Puyallup, WA and installed in their old (1926) building. When a new edifice was built in 1964, the organ was sold to LBI. It was relocated and installed there in the Rainier Room by Glen D. White of Seattle, dba Olympic Organ Builders. One pipe alteration was made resulting in several tonal/stop changes: the 4' Salicet was cut-down, de-bearded, and revoiced as a 2' Principal. The stop keys for the Swell and Great were swapped. Source: extant organ documented ca. 1992. -Database Manager

2008-06-27 - Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- The college has sold the property to City Church - a fundamantalist "mega church." They are moving their campus to the old Bon Marche building in Everett, WA. The organ was evaluated for sale value vs. restoration expense by Puget Sound Pipe Organs of Seattle on Tuesday June 24. Decisions as to the fate of the organ are pending. -Database Manager

NOTES
This organ originally built for the 1904 edifice of Mountain View Lutheran Church in
Puyallup, WA.  It was relocated to the Lutheran Bible Institute of Seattle ca. 1965
by Glenn D. White of Seattle with tonal changes.

The original 4' Octave Conique was revoiced.  The original 16-8-4 Gedeckt remained un-
changed.  And the original 4' Salicet was cut-down, de-bearded, and revoiced as a 2'
Octave. The stoplist was altered as a result of the tonal changes. The original blower
was replaced with a new Meidinger blower from Switzerland.

When LBI moved to Issaquah to the former campus of Providence Heights College, the
Möller was moved-along and re-installed in the Rainier Room where it remained until
its removal by Jim Stettner of Puget Sound Pipe Organs in 2008 when LBI (since renamed
Trinity Lutheran College) down-sized and relocated to the old Bon Marche building in
Everett, WA.
