Notes

2005-12-30 - Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ was free-standing and encased with a 5-sectional facade containing 37 pipes arranged: 5-3-8-5-8-3-5. This included pipes 1-17 of the Great 8' Open Diapason, pipes 1-12 of the Swell 8' Violin Diapason, and 1-8 of the Great 4' Principal. The organ was electrified, rebuilt, and enlarged for the new church in 1958 by Balcom and Vaughan of Seattle. -Database Manager

2024-06-18 - The Ed Boadway Hinners opus list records this instrument as having been 11 ranks. 10 identifiable Hinners ranks survived in the 1958 Balcom and Vaughan electrification for the new church. It seems likely that the 11th rank would have been on the Great, and was likely either an 8' Gamba or a 4' Flute d'Amour. -Jim Stettner

NOTES
The preceding stoplist is not verified since the original keydesk has long since been replaced.
The names of stops given are based on extant and other documented examples of the builder's work
from this period as well as the present nomenclature of the rebuilt, electrified instrument.

The instrument was housed in a free-standing case, likely made of quarter-sawn oak with 17 pipes
of the Great 8' Open Diapason in the façade along with notes 1-12 of the Swell 8' Violin Diapason
and notes 1 - 5 of the Great 4' Principal.

The bottom 12 notes of the Swell 8' Salicional were mitred to fit inside the enclosure.

The organ was electrified, rebuilt, enlarged to 11 ranks, and placed in divided chambers in 1958
by Balcom and Vaughan of Seattle, WA, as their opus 650.
